Scores & Transcripts

• You may use your access code to access your scores at www.ged123.org. It takes approximately 1 week for scores to be updated at ged123.org.
• You may also come by the GED center the Friday after your session with picture ID to receive your scores.
• We cannot under any circumstances give out scores over the phone.

• The GED sub tests use a Standard Score that ranges from 200 to 800. The passing score for each sub test is 410. In order to pass the GED and receive a certificate, your overall average for the five sub tests must be at least 450 for a total score of 2250. CWI requires an average of 450, however other colleges and universities requirements may vary. Please check with the institution prior to testing.

• If you fail a test, you may retake it using a different form. We have 3 forms of each sub test available each year. Retests cost $25 each. You should study before you test again and may choose to enroll in our ABE program.

• People who have earned their GED may retest to improve their scores, but only if required to meet an admission requirement for post-secondary education or training or to meet employment conditions. A letter from the institution or the employer will be required and a fee will be charged to retest.

• A signed transcript release form must be completed, if you desire your official scores to be sent to a school or program of your choice. The cost is $5.

• Please call us in advance if you have started the testing process at another test center or in another state.
• If you started testing since 2002 in another state, we must receive an official transcript from the center where you tested previously, or you may fill out a GED Score Request Form and bring it to one of our testing centers along with valid ID. We must receive all prior scores before you may continue your GED testing with CWI.
