Supporting CWI

Interested in helping CWI meet the diverse needs of our community and the students we serve? To help us fulfill our mission as we champion an exciting future for the College of Western Idaho as well as our region, state and world we are asking for your support. There are many ways to support CWI; including contributions that provide tax advantages. Gifts may be unrestricted, with flexibility to support CWI’s most immediate needs, or they may be directed to meet an identified priority. Some gifts can allow for lifetime payments to the donor or other beneficiaries.

Ways to Give
By making a gift to the CWI Foundation in support of scholarships, facilities or programs, you make possible a premier education for CWI students. Cash Gifts

Credit Card Gifts

The CWI Foundation is pleased to accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit card gifts. There are three options for making a gift:

3. Call the CWI Foundation Office at 208.562.3100 to make your credit card gift over the phone.


Monthly Electronic Fund Transfers

Our electronic funds transfer program is a convenient and easy way to contribute over time on a monthly basis. Simply complete the authorization form and mail it to the CWI Foundation Office.

Securities and Stock Gifts

Gifts of securities and stocks are an advantageous way of making a charitable contribution that may positively impact financial, tax, and estate plans. To make a gift of securities or stock, contact the CWI Foundation.


Memorial and Tribute Gifts

Many alumni and friends make a gift in honor or memory of someone close to them – perhaps a teacher, family member, or friend. A CWI gift planning advisor will work with you to honor that special person in a meaningful way. Please call 208.562.3100 for more information.


CWI Employee Giving

CWI employee giving makes an enormous difference by generously supporting all of the College's departments and programs, employees and students. Every employee gift, whatever the size, makes a positive impact. More information on employee giving »


In-Kind Gifts

In-kind gifts are a contribution of tangible personal property such as art, collectibles, books, equipment, other personal assets, or materials that can be used to advance the mission of CWI and may qualify as a charitable deduction for the person making the gift. Please contact Jodi Davis-Gempler, director of development at 208.562.3516 or jodidavisgempler@cwidaho.cc if you are interested in providing an in-kind gift to CWI.


In-Person

We are happy to visit with friends of the College anytime and would like to speak with you one-on-one about what you would like to accomplish with your gift. To speak to a CWI gift planning advisor please contact the CWI Foundation at 208.562.3100.

 

Remember to ask if your employer will match your gift!
If you or your spouse is employed by a company with a matching gift program, your contribution to CWI could be doubled or even tripled. Hundreds of corporations throughout the United States match the contributions their employees make to higher education. Check with the CWI Foundation or with your human resources office to see if your employer participates in the matching gift program.
