Computer Literacy
The College of Western Idaho recognizes and advocates the critical need for computer literacy. Basic computer literacy at CWI is defined as a demonstrated ability to use technology to access, manipulate, evaluate, use and present information. All CWI students are required to demonstrate competency in computer literacy by achieving a satisfactory score on the Computer Skills Assessment (CSA) prior to graduating with any Associate degree (AA or AS). The CSA is comprised of five sections: email/Internet, general technology, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation using the MS Office Suite.
